- Abstract
- This study examines the Gender Difference in the effects of Japanese-Median Instruction, linguistic anxiety and risk-taking. The results of this study are as follows:(1) The Gender Difference in the effects of Japanese-Median Instruction was significant. The effects were higher when the students were men.
(2) The Gender Difference in the level of linguistic anxiety was insignificant. The level of linguistic anxiety was higher when the students were women.
(3) The Gender Difference in the level of risk-taking was significant. The level of risk-taking was higher when the students were men.
In Japanese-Median Classes, when considering the Gender Difference, the environment needs to be changed to reduce the students' linguistic anxiety and to make students take more risks in their class.
