dc.description.abstractThe World Organizations’ International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health(ICF) has become the generally accepted framework as a health and disability classification system of individuals with health problems. The ICF has become accepted worldwide by a variety of professions such as medicine, rehabilitation, psychology, social work, and therapeutic recreation. The primary purposes of this article are to introduce the basic concepts and terminology of the ICF to leisure and recreation professionals in Korea and to provide discussions on how the concepts of the ICF can be incorporated into practice, research, and education in leisure and recreation field in Korea.-
