- Abstract
- 최근 스마트폰, 태블릿PC 등 스마트 기기가 대중화됨에 따라서, 공공데이터를 활용해 새로운 서비스와 상품 개발을 위한 민간의 공공데이터 활용수요가 폭발적으로 증가하고 있다. 그러나 실제 민간이 활용할 수 있는 공공데이터는 턱없이 부족한 실정이다. 이는 공공데이터의 민간제공과 이용을 체계적으로 뒷받침할 수 있는 법률적 근거가 없어 국가차원의 적극적인 대응이 현실적으로 어렵기 때문이다. 본 논문은 공공데이터의 개방에 따른 경제적 효과 분석과 함께, 『공공데이터의 제공 및 이용 활성화에 관한 법률』의 구성과 내용을 설명하여 향후 『공공데이터의 제공 및 이용 활성화에 관한 법률』 제정을 통해 해결할 수 있는 주요 현안을 살펴보고자 한다.
