Presented is a wide input range hybrid DC-DC conversion system designed for use in solar energy harvesting. The proposed architecture achieves high conversion efficiency over a wide 2.6V input voltage (from 0.7 to 3.3V) for an output of 0.7V. The proposed system is optimally designed for solar energy harvesting systems. The combination of a variable conversion ratio switched-capacitor step-down DC-DC converter and a low drop-out voltage regulator makes the drop-out voltage lower. A power multiplexer and a voltage doubler reduce the power dissipation of the entire system.-
