- Abstract
- The Third Wave of Democratization did not avoid Asia, which had significant impact. In this paper, we survey the theories on the relationship between democracy/democratization and economic growth. Then we apply the theories to the Asian experience, which has both theoretical and policy implications. Findings of our study will help us better understand the relationship between democracy and economic performance.
