- Abstract
- The purpose of this research was, firstly, to develop quantitative evaluation indicators for environmental sustainability concerning the relationships between the physical spatial design, the urban landscape view planning and the environmental planning on community planing composed of multiple stock housing. Secondly, as a fundamental study for the development of integrated evaluation methods, 54 basic lay-out types were established according to the procedure of spatial design such as orientation and site conditions to the access roads which strongly effects on urban landscape view and environmental planning.
Based on the basic lay-out types, case studies on existing multi stock housing projects were carried out, and 16 typical lay-out types were established in order to measure the evaluation indicators for environmental sustainability. The research found the tendency of lay-out type changes, and showed that the building coverage area and the number of building stocks had inverse relationships with the average elevation blockage indicator, and energy consumption and CO2 emission had proportional relationship with average thermal transmittances of exterior envelope through energy simulation analyses. Finally, the evaluation indicators of urban landscape view had strong relationship with wall area ratio and average thermal transmittances of exterior envelope.
