dc.description.abstractPyricularia commelinicola sp. nov., causing circular leaf spots, was found on Commelina communis in Korea. The fungus is described, illustrated, and compared with the previously known Pyricularia species on the genus Commelina. The phylogenetic relationship of the fungus with other Pyricularia species is discussed.-
