- Abstract
- In this study, we examined the chemical diffusion coefficient of oxygen out-diffusion ((D) over tilde (out)) in partially melted YBa2Cu3Oy (Y123)-Ag superconducting tape produced by the thermomechanical processing of the silver-lad precursor (doped with 5 wt.% Ag) containing BaCuO2.5 at reduced oxygen partial pressure (P-O2). The (D) over tilde (out) value of Y123-Ag (O-7.0 to O-6.2), obtained by using the thermogravimetric relaxation technique at 950 degrees C and a P-O2 of 0.28 kPa, was 1.0476 X 10(-7) cm(2)/s.
