dc.description.abstractAssembling [W(CN)(6)(bpy)](-) and magnetic anisotropic Mn Schiff bases produced two Mn-III(3d)-W-V(5d) bimetallic chains. Modulation of the types and degrees of interchain pi-pi interactions in the one-dimensional coordination polymers leads to the variation of the magnetic behavior from a metamagnetic character to a single-chain magnet property.-
