In this study, the isotype of Bremia domingensis on Parthenium hysterophorus is carefully investigated, described and illustrated based on morphological characteristics. It is concluded that the species is misplaced in Bremia but is a member of Plasmopara. Therefore, the new combination Plasmopara domingensis is proposed for this pathogen.-
