dc.description.abstractDistinct behaviors of dark and UV-illuminated electrical conduction were obtained for two individual single-crystalline wurtzite GaN nanowires (NWs) of different diameters. The conduction mechanism in the nanowire systems is discussed in the light of Schottky barriers and impurity bands.-
