- Abstract
- Polymer solar cells based on poly (3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) were fabricated using two different solvents, chlorobenzene and chloroform, in order to investigate the influence of the solvents used for spin-coating on the solar-cell characteristics. The indium-tin-oxide (ITO)/P3HT/Al photovoltaic device fabricated from P3HT films using the chlorobenzene solvent showed better photovoltaic performance than that fabricated using chloroform, which is attributed to the better chain ordering of P3HT.
