| dc.description.abstract | 오카쿠라 덴신(岡倉天心)의 일본미의식 탐구는 시기별로 진화하는 과정을 보여주었다. 시간의 경과와 함께 그의 시야는 확대되어 조형물을 중심으로 일본미의식을 귀납적으로 추출하던 시기부터 국가주의와 결합하거나 아시아주의와 결합하는 등 변화를 보였다. 시간적으로도 헤이안(平安)시대, 가마쿠라(鎌倉)시대, 무로마치(室町) 및 모모야마(桃山)시대로 이어지는 각 시대별 미의식을 순서에 맞춘 듯이 구성하는 치밀함을 보였다. 가장 첫 시기는 강의 <일본미술사>에 드러나 있듯이 일본미술사를 통해 귀납한 우미함을 일본미의식의 중심적인 특징으로 파악했고, 두 번째 시기에는 국가주의와 결합되며 미술 장르로는 역사화, 미의식에서는 무사도를 부각시켰다. 세 번째 시기에는 아시아로 확장되며 『차책(茶の本)』The Book of Tea을 중심으로 다도에 드러난 일본미의식을 전체 아시아문명 속에 위치시키려 하였다. | - |
