dc.description.abstractThis paper discusses about the research of ‘Zhe’ and ‘Zhege’ in Mandarin Chinese. These questions have not been noticed so far, nor they have been studied in detail. While former studied on such words that are based on the pragmatic meaning difference, this paper focuses on the grammatical elements. This paper gives full details of the ‘Zhe’ and ‘Zhege’ as a subject. The scholars have made many achievements researching about ‘Ge’ in Chinese. And it was accepted that ‘Ge’ is in a constant mitigating process from quantity to non-quantity. For that reason there is a significant disparity between of ‘Zhe’ and ‘Zhege’ because modality function of ‘Ge’. Special interest is ‘Zhe’ and ‘Zhege’ as a object. What decisively marks off the ‘Zhe’ and ‘Zhege’ is existence of ‘Ge’. A ‘Ge’ in Chinese and A ‘-Geos’ in Korean are structurally analogous to each other. Among all the Bound Noun in Korean, ‘-Geos’ becomes a noun when ‘-Geos’ is used together with a demonstrative pronoun. With this in mind there is a striking analogy between A ‘Ge’ in Chinese and A ‘-Geos’ in Korean.-
