- Abstract
- 크레티앵 드 트루아의 로망에서 보이는 기사서임의 핵심은 무기수여에 있다. 1180년을 기준으로 기사서임 의식에서 후대로 갈수록 물질적·세속적 성격으로부터 의례적·상징적·종교적 성격으로의 변화가 나타났다. 따라서 크레티앵의 로망은 정치, 사회경제, 문화, 군사적 변화를 겪고 있던 세기 전환기에 기사가 이데올로기 수준에서나마 폐쇄적 카스트로 들어가는 과정의 한 측면을 반영한 것으로 볼 수 있을 것이다.
