고대루시 번역필사본 『Pchela』에 나타난 구약성서 인용문의 언어-문체적 특징

Abstract

This paper investigates exclusively biblical phrases of the Old Testament in the Old Russian translation of 『Pchela』from the linguistic-stylistic point of view. Most of the biblical phrases of the Old Testament in 『Pchela』 were quoted from the books of Sirach and Solomon. This paper suggests classification of Old Testament biblical phrases according to the content (Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Wisdom of Solomon, Wisdom of Jesus, Son of Sirach) and form (word-by-word, modified, abbreviated). As a result, we can find out how and why Old Russian translators quoted Biblical phrases from the Old Testament in 『Pchela』, and the traditional philological significance of this written monument in Old Russian times.
