- Abstract
- In this study, we surveyed the need for constructing information network on sports industry in
order to provide the foundation for contents development and high-quality informational service
systems. We analysed 292 copies among the 330 copies distributed to people who are engaged in
sports equipment, sports facility service, sports event and sports information business. Collected
data were analysed using SPSS PC+12.0 after coding. The validity and reliability of the
questionnaire were checked by factor analysis and chronbach's α test. The difference in the
recognition of the need for sports information network was analysed by one-way ANOVA.
Tukey's HSD was used as a Post-Hoc test. Individual need for information network was tested
by multi regression analysis. And the results are as follows:
First, there was no difference in satisfaction with sports industry information among the groups.
Second, there were differences in the need for sports information but there was no difference in
the need for specific information.
Third, general and specific information on industry, information management and construction
function had influence on the need for information network. The value of F was 44.862 and
P-value was .000. So dependence variable could be explained linearly under significance level α
=.05. The value of R2 was .385. The influence of general information was β=.165, the influence
of information management was β=.406, and that of construction function was β=.207.
Therefore, information management had the greatest influence.
