This case study explored the experience of caregivers of children on wheelchair. Specifically, we investigated how participating in family leisure activities contributes to enhancing resilience as well as reducing stress. We used purposive sampling and recruited 10 caregivers who are caring for children with physical disabilities using wheelchairs. Most children were attending elementary school, and their ages ranged between 7 and 15. Analysis of the data revealed two central themes; (1) parenting stress in their daily lives and (2) fortifying resilience through family leisure participation with children. The results demonstrated that caregivers were experiencing the burden of parenting in their daily lives. When the caregivers and children were participating in leisure activities together, resilience characteristics were facilitated, and parenting stress was reduced. The findings are meaningful in that resilience of caregivers and family leisure activities had a pivotal role in promoting the quality of life of caregivers.-
