dc.description.abstractMo(CO)(6) converts a broad range of thiiranes to the corresponding alkenes in high yields under neutral conditions. It has been found that this protocol is chemoselective and tolerates a variety of functional groups such as chloro, bromo, fluoro, ester, methoxy, ether and keto.-
