| dc.description.abstract | 세계체계론은 사회학 연구의 여러 분야에 큰 이론적·경험적 영향을 끼쳤다. 농업과 먹거리 관련해서는 식량체제론이 대표적이다. 식량체제론은 세계체계론, 특히 헤게모니 체계와 관련된 논의를 식량 공급의 영역으로 확장시켜 중범위적 역사적 분석을 시도하고 있다. 이 글은 맥마이클과 프리드먼에 의해 만들어진 식량체제론의 내용을 정리하고, 그 이론적·방법론적 함의를 기반으로 한국의 농식품체계에 대한 설명을 시도하였다. 구체적으로는 식량체제의 개념화가 어떤 방법론적 기반을 갖는지를 소개하고, 영국 헤게모니를 기반으로 했던 ‘1차식량체제’와 미국 헤게모니를 기반으로 하는 ‘2차식량체제’의 특징을 비교한 뒤, 새로운 조절양식을 기반으로 하는 ‘3차식량체제’의 내용을 제시하였다. 또한 이러한 거대구조의 변화 속에서 한국의 식량 공급기제, 즉 농식품체계를 통합적 비교의 측면에서 분석하였다. 마지막으로 3차식량체제, 즉 신자유주의적 기업식량체제하에서 진행되고 있는 식량주권 및 대안 모색의 노력들을 소개하였다. | - |
