| dc.description.abstract | 17세기는 고전소설사 서술에서 전환기적 시기로 이해하고 있다. 이전의 시기 와 달라진 고전소설의 창작 과정과 향유의 모습이 드러나며, 이러한 양상이 소 설사의 추이와 관련되어 있어서이다. 따라서 이 시기의 고전소설 창작과 향유 의 모습은 우리의 고전소설을 이해하는데 중요한 단서가 된다. 17세기 고전소 설의 창작 및 향유와 관련하여서는 가족과 관련된 기록이 잘 알려져 있으며, 향 유의 과정에서 낭독이 중요하게 거론되고 있다. 그리고 소설의 낭독 과정은 단 순히 소리를 내어 책을 읽었다는 의미뿐만 아니라, 작품의 내용이나 서술 경향 과도 연관된다. 따라서 17세기에 창작된 작품들과 관련된 낭독에 관한 기록은 낭독과 듣는 독자의 관계뿐만 아니라 낭독을 통한 작품의 내용과 형식을 이해 하는 단서이다. 이러한 점에서 관련기록과 사례를 통해 낭독과 듣는 독자의 등장에 따른 당대의 인식을 확인해 보는 것은 고전소설의 창작과 향유의 과정에 대한 다각적인 시각을 제시할 수 있는 착안점이 된다. | - |
