식사규칙성이 성인 비만에 미치는 효과 분석: 성향점수 매칭기법을 중심으로

| dc.description.abstract | 본 연구는 식사규칙성을 영양과 건강측면에서만 접근하던 시야를 넓히고자 하는 연구이다. 식사를 규칙적으로 하게 되면 에너지섭취량이 많아 비만도(체질량지수)와 양의 상관관계가 있을 것으로 예상된다. 그런데, 실질적으로 어떤 영향을 지니고 있는지를 잠재된 내생성 문제를 해결하기 위한 분석기법인 성향점수매칭법을 이용하여 분석함으로써 식사규칙성여부가 성인 비만에 미치는 순수한 효과 분석을 시도하였다. 성과변수로는 BMI, 허리둘레, 에너지 섭취량을 이용하였고, 비만과 1일 3식 식사규칙성 및 아침식사규칙성과의 관계에 대한 두 개의 가설을설정하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 규칙적인 식사를 하는 성인은 그렇지 않은 성인보다 더 많은 칼로리를 섭취하지만 BMI는 더 낮게 나타났다. 그리고 아침식사를 규칙적으로 하는 성인은 아침 식사를 불규칙적으로 하는 성인보다 더 많은 칼로리를 섭취하지만 BMI는 더 낮았다. 즉, 규칙적인 식사가 성인의 비만도를 낮추는데 효과적임을 보여준다. | - |
