dc.description.abstractA novel species of Lecanicillium found on rust fungi is described. Lecanicillium uredinophilum sp. nov. is closely related to L. longisporum but differs morphologically in having longer phialides. Multiple gene sequence analysis supports its taxonomic position in the genus Lecanicillium.-
