- Abstract
- We have studied phosphorescent organic light emitting systems comprising hybrid composite films of inorganic ZnO and phosphorescent dye 2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethylporphine platinum (PtOEP) codoped in a tris(8-hydroxyquinolinato)-aluminium (III) (Alq(3)) host. According to the photoluminescence (PL) measurements, ZnO serves as a sensitizer giving rise to efficient energy transfer in the organic-inorganic composite films, leading to enhanced PL intensities.
