We developed a series of micro-sized porous coordination polymers from Mn(III)-porphyrin biscarboxylate and In(III) whose morphologies were systematically modulated by the addition of adequate amount of water. Regardless of a wide range of morphology distribution, they are isostructural, confirmed by the identical PXRD patterns. Furthermore, their use as heterogeneous catalysts for the olefin oxidations has been successfully demonstrated. Specially, their catalyst stability, lifetime and re-usability were dramatically improved, suggesting that the incorporation of active catalyst into coordination polymer supports inhibited successfully the degradation of catalysts.-
