dc.description.abstractWe obtain generalized formulae for the moments of inertia of D(>= 2)-dimensional uniform solid spheres and spherical shells without actual integration. The derivation is based on the parallel axis theorem and the (generalized) perpendicular axis theorem along with rotational symmetry.-
