초록

The Relationship between University Students' linguistic anxiety and risk-taking in Japanese-medium classesThis study examines the relationship between University Students' linguistic anxiety and risk-takingin Japanese-medium classes. The results of this study are as follows:(1) The level of linguistic anxiety among University Students in Japanese-medium classes was nothigh. It showed a higher level of linguistic anxiety of students who did not have any experienceof living in Japan for less than three months or had not high-level Japanese language ability. (2) The level of risk-taking among University Students in Japanese-medium classes was insignificant. It revealed a higher level of risk-taking of students who were men, lived in Japan for more thanthree years or had high-level Japanese language ability. (3) Linguistic anxiety is negatively correlated with risk-taking. Based on these research results, I proposed that the reform measures need to be considered in orderto make Japanese-medium Instruction more effective for language learners.
