초록

Fine structure of isolated Mn2+ ions in CdMnSe/ZnSe quantum wells (QWs) is revealed by optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR) recorded by monitoring both excition emission and intra-Mn luminescence in the presence of simultaneous microwave irradiation. A large decrease of photoluminescence (PL) intensity of excitions and an increase of PL intensity of Mn2+ ions is obseerved when an applied magnetic field satisfies the Mn2+ electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) condition. This suggests that a spin-dependent energy transfer from excitons to intra-Mn excitations occurs at the EPR condition. (C) 2010 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim
