초록

In this paper, a security-constrained unit commitment (SCUC) model considering a mobile virtual power line (MVPL) is proposed to enhance transmission capability. MVPL is a cooperative operation model for mobile energy storage systems (MESSs) that can enhance transmission capability in multiple locations because it can be relocated depending on a grid situation. Particularly, MVPL can continuously enhance a transmission capability without the energy limit of the battery by alleviating security constraints associated with contingency flow in SCUC problems. As a result, the proposed method can reduce total operating costs by mitigating renewable energy curtailment due to transmission congestion. To solve the resulting large scale MILP problem, SCUC problem is solved using a benders decomposition algorithm. Case studies are conducted on modified IEEE 24 and 118 bus systems with a railway network to demonstrate the benefits of the proposed method.
