초록

This letter analyzes the coverage probability and signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) meta distribution of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite networks under terrestrial blockage. Blocked links are modeled as residual non-line-of-sight (NLoS) components rather than removed, so that the hard-blockage model is recovered as a limiting case. Using a state-marked spherical Poisson point process with strongest-average-received-power association, we derive the coverage probability and conditional success probability (CSP) moments, yielding a beta approximation of the meta distribution. Correlated Boolean blockage simulations confirm that the blockage environment and satellite-density operating point yielding the highest average coverage can differ from those yielding the highest 5th-percentile reliability. Average coverage alone may thus mislead reliability-oriented LEO network design.
