Capniella gibba sp. n., the fourth species of the small East Palaearctic winter stonefly genus Capniella Klapálek, 1920 is described on the basis of male adults collected in the Odaesan Mts, Republic of Korea. Affinities of the new species is discussed, and characters are compared to congeners. This is the 96th stonefly species known from the Korean Peninsula. © 2021. Ecologica Montenegrina.
