1인 가구 관련 해외 정책의 현황과 함의: 유럽 주요 국가를 중심으로

초록

This study examines policies related to single-person households in the United Kingdom, France, and Sweden in order to draw policy implications. In these countries, policies are generally based on the universal guarantee of individual citizenship rights rather than on support systems exclusively for single-person households. Nevertheless, because single-person households are often socioeconomically vulnerable, they are frequently included as beneficiaries of broader social welfare programs. Although European experiences differ from the Korean context, some measures may still be applicable in the short term. In particular, the rapid increase in single-person households may intensify social isolation, weakening social solidarity and trust. Therefore, policies and programs that strengthen social networks and community solidarity should be actively considered.
