Soft decision approaches in adaptive blind decision feedback equalisers

초록

An improved adaptive blind decision feedback equaliser (DFE) scheme in the presence of rapidly time-varying channels is proposed by utilising a soft decision feedback sample generator for reduction of error propagation and, at the same time, for enhancement of (re)initialisation and tracking ability of the DFE.
