일본어 감정형용사의 유의관계 고찰: 한국어 대역 시소러스를 중심으로

초록

Language Information, Volume 11. 39-55. This paper aims to survey the synonymy relations of Japanese emotional adjectives through the analysis of the thesaurus with matching translation in Korean. Specifically, by searching and analyzing the matching Korean translations of Japanese emotional adjectives and their synonyms (the so-called thesaurus with matching translation), this paper tries to have a clear grasp of the characteristics which Japanese synonymous adjectives show. The target of survey is 105 Japanese emotional adjectives from the sourcebook of National Institute of the Japanese Language, Table of Vocabulary Classification (2004, the revised and enlarged edition). For convenience’ sake, this paper classifies Japanese emotional adjectives into 3 subclasses ― ① the adjectives with a large number of synonyms, ② the adjectives with a small number of synonyms, and ③ the adjectives with no matching translation in Korean ― and surveys the synonymy relations of Japanese emotional adjectives which are matched in the thesaurus in each subclass.
