The Effects of Exercise Training with Moderate Intensity on Sex Hormone,Energy Metabolism and Appetite Control Hormone in Sedentary Adults

초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference of sex hormone, energy metabolism and appetite control hormone on exercise training with moderate intensity in sedentary male and female, subjects divided into male group(n=9) and female group(n=9), and performed moderate intensity exercise for 4 weeks(treadmill running, 60~70%VO2R, 30min/day, 3times/week). After training, to investigate of sex hormone(testosterone, estrogen), appetite(leptin, VAS) and energy metabolism(FFA, growth hormone, glucose, insulin) according to acute exercise(treadmill running, 70%VO2R, 30minutes). The blood samples and VAS were collected at pre, post, 15 minutes post and 30 minutes post exercise. The data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way repeated measures ANCOVA, one-way ANCOVA. This study showed that significant differences in FFA, estrogen, leptin and VAS were observed between groups, but no significant differences in growth hormone, glucose and insulin were not observed between groups. As a result. female group had less appetite increase and higher fat metabolism as acute exercise than male group after moderate training.
