전통 견지낚시의 스포츠적 특성

초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate how Gyun-Ji fishing matches certain characteristics of sports, and the chances that Gyun-Ji fishing can be a valuable activity as a leisure sport. For understanding the serious experience in fishing, this research used a qualitative method. The informants were selected by purposive sampling, and total 6 informants were participated in this study. In-depth interview, open-ended and self-introduced were collected and analyzed. Data was showed three subjective categorizations： Firstly, there are the peak experience along with endurance, effort, and well trained skill in Gyun-Ji fishing. Secondly, Gyun-Ji fishing is a spontaneous and unpredictable sport activity. Finally, Gyun-Ji fishing tends to lead participants into very serious attitudes for obtaining skills, and the aspect of competition. In addition, there exist differences in fishing results among fishermen based on their fishing equipment and skills, although they are fishing at a exactly same spot. Based on the common characteristics of Gyun-Ji fishing explained above, it contains a number of positive potentials such as the evolutive chances into a game fishing, environment friendly fishing, and a good source for excitement as a leisure sport activity.
