초록

This study aims to maximize the inter-radio access technology (RAT) energy efficiency of new radio non-terrestrial networks (NR-NTNs) operating at licensed (LB) and unlicensed bands (UB) simultaneously. Specifically, we jointly optimize UAV movement, transmission power, and duty cycle based on a cooperative multi-agent distributed deep Q-network (DQN) to maximize the inter-RAT energy efficiency while minimizing inter system interference between 5G new radio-unlicensed (NR-U) and Wi-Fi sharing the unlicensed frequency band. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm significantly improves network-wide energy efficiency based on aggregate received signal strength indicator (RSSI) and reward sharing among agents compared to the benchmark algorithms. © 1967-2012 IEEE.
