우리나라 지방채발행변화에 대한 신제도론적 분석

초록

The purpose of this study is to analyse changes of the issued local debts in Korea over the past ten years and to explain the changes. This study uses the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, which is an appropriate method to test distribution-free data, to find out how many changes in the issued local debts have occurred and what the change direction is. The result of the test suggests that comparing to a former year, the issued debts in 2000 decreased, but in 2006 increased more than a former year in terms of quantitative significance. The first change is explained by the concept of social appropriateness and the second change is interpreted by the notion of conscious design of institutions in new institutionalism respectively. This analysis provides new perspective on studying issued local debts.
