북방민족 歷史像의 復元을 통한 동시아사의 새로운 패러다임

초록

East Asian history, reevaluatiing the history of Inner Asian ethnicities, must start by correcting the history of East Asia that has been excessively focused on China, specifically the Han. This study not only emphasizes the Inner Asian people's activities but also will provide the opportunity to look at the history of East Asia a new perspective. East Asia, which has been described through a limited perspective using ‘foreign relations’ so far, needs to be considered as ‘international relations’ with a new angle rather than ‘foreign relations’. The new paradigm of ‘East Asian History’ should find utmost ways to be objective about the history of East Asia by incorporating different perspectives. The unique feature of this paradigm is not to connect the histories of each country but to describe and explain the structural and internal relations logically through ‘International relations’. It is difficult to breakdown the already established views of history, but this study aims to make other countries in East Asia aware of an objective perspective towards their history. This thesis will be a success if it is able to reconstruct the objectivity of East Asian History which can be accepted by various nations in East Asian through the reevaluation of Inner Asian history, and chinese relativization while restraining from being egocentric. It is time to find ways to reconstruct a new paradigm towards East Asian History while being framed in world/global history.
