The classification of personal color plays a vital role in various industries, particularly in fashion and cosmetics, where personalized recommendations and customized experiences hold great significance. In this paper, we present an approach to standardize the process of personal color diagnosis, which has historically varied due to the subjectivity of individual consultants. Our approach utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) classification models, such as support vector machine (SVM) and multilayer perceptron (MLP), in conjunction with a high performance face detection model.Furthermore, the study delves into the practical applications of the AI-based personal color classification approach, particularly its potential to facilitate personalized recommendations in the fashion industry. It can also aid in the selection of makeup products based on individual facial color palettes, enhancing the overall personalized experience for consumers.In conclusion, this study presents an innovative and accurate AI-based approach for classifying personal color. The proposed model demonstrates promising results in categorizing individuals into distinct color categories, thereby opening up new avenues for personalized experiences across multiple industries. The integration of AI technology in personal color classification has the potential to revolutionize the way we perceive and engage with color, leading to enhanced customization and satisfaction in various aspects of our daily lives. © 2023 IEEE.
