국내 다양성 교육 프로그램 효과 연구 동향 분석: 교육 주제와 효과를 중심으로

As social demand for diversity education has increased, numerous studies have examined the effectiveness of diversity education programs. The current study analyzed research trends in the educational topics and outcomes of diversity education program studies in Korea based on a comprehensive concept of diversity. A total of 162 articles published in Korea Citation Index (KCI) journals between 2000 and June 2026 were analyzed. The findings showed that research on diversity education program effectiveness has steadily increased since the 2000s, particularly during the 2010s. Most programs targeted preschool and elementary school students, whereas relatively few focused on adults. Multicultural awareness was the most frequently addressed topic, followed by disability awareness, gender equality, integrated diversity, other diversity topics, and sexual minorities. In terms of educational outcomes, attitudinal and affective domains were most prevalent, and most showed positive effects. These findings provide an overview of research trends and limitations in diversity education program effectiveness studies in Korea. Directions for future research are suggested.
