국민연금법 개정이 노동임금에 미친 영향 - Mincer 방정식의 응용 -

초록

This study utilized the Mincer wage equation to analyze the impact of the amendment to the National Pension Act on wages in the Korean labor market. The analysis employed data from the 1st through 25th waves of the Korean Labor Inspection Survey (KLIPS) covering the period from 2007 to 2023, and estimated the net effect of the amendment on workers’ wages by controlling for individual and year-specific characteristics. The results suggest that the amendment may have a significant impact on the wage structure of the labor market. Such changes in the labor market have the potential to affect macroeconomic aspects, such as household consumption and economic growth; accordingly, this raises the need for continuous government monitoring and appropriate policy responses. This study is significant in that it empirically analyzed the effects of the amendment on workers’ wages. Furthermore, the findings are expected to provide useful policy implications for future reforms of the national pension system and the formulation of related labor market policies. Additionally, the study suggests that further discussion and follow-up research are necessary regarding the impact of the amendment on wage and employment disparities within the labor market.
