Basic skin care for atopic dermatitis

초록

Basic skin care for atopic dermatitis (AD) management may impact the skin barrier, pruritus, and skin inflammation. Moisturizers and appropriate bathing practices are recommended for all patients with AD, regardless of disease severity. Wet-wrap therapy is typically reserved for patients with moderate-to-severe AD to control flares or manage recalcitrant disease. Although high-quality evidence supporting and defining an optimal basic skin care regimen remains limited, these interventions continue to constitute a fundamental component of AD management.
