박정희 정권기 개발독재 비판―비교역사사회학적 접근

초록

This article aims at understanding Park Chung Hee regime from comparative historical sociological perspective. The purpose of this article is threefold. First, it critically examines the logic of developmental dictatorship(DD). The proponents of DD argue that the dictatorship is desirable and inevitable during Park era. Many scholars have criticized the logical antinomy of DD. Second, by introducing critical realist social science ontology, this article tries to show three different spheres of real social world, the empirical, the actual and the real. This article tries to transcend the pros or cons of DD by closely scrutinizing DD from methodological reflection. Third, based on Foucault’s theory of governmentality, this paper shows the governing of economy by bringing the international relations and the transnational political economy back in as well as by bringing the history not as experience but as event and social mechanism back in.
