Let X subset of P-K(r) be an irreducible non-normal complete intersection of two quadrics which is not a cone. The aim of this paper is to classify all X, up to projective equivalence. Our main result shows that r <= 5 and there exist exactly six (resp. nine) X's when char K not equal 2 (resp. char K = 2). (C) 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
