試論 “鳳凰男” 一詞流行的社會文化因素

초록

This essay starts with the review of the origin of the word “phoenixman” and the fixation of its word order. It points out that, when it first appears, the word “phoenix-man” assumes the “1+2” structure (male phoenix); when it is widely used, it takes up the “2+1” structure which better confirms to the linguistic rules. As soon as the word is born, it possesses the media like newspaper, etc., and spreads fast and wide, and its rational and emotional conveyance is rapidly set. This essay finally analyzes the major social and cultural factors that lead to the word’s fast spreading, and proposes that the origin and popularization of this word results from the change of the social hierarchy and the overthrown of the traditional values in the modern society.
