중국과 영미권 전쟁시 감성 분석 - 디지털 인문학적 접근

초록

This study utilizes sentiment analysis within a digital humanities framework to comparatively examine war poetry from China and the Anglophone world. Employing text mining techniques—specifically sentiment polarity scoring, N-gram analysis, and word frequency-sentiment correlation analysis—the research analyzes emotional representations across these distinct literary traditions. Findings indicate that while negative sentiment prevails in both, the emotional structures differ significantly. Chinese war poetry often adopts a collective, historically conscious perspective, conveying grief through restrained and symbolic language. Conversely, Anglophone war poems frequently foreground individual trauma and sensory experience, oscillating between disillusionment and moral idealization. These disparities suggest that cultural frameworks shape the emotional intensity and linguistic style of war representations. By integrating computational analysis with comparative poetics, the study highlights the value of quantitative tools in revealing patterns overlooked by traditional criticism, contributing to a cross-cultural understanding of war literature.
