신안선(新安船)을 활용한 동아시아 해역교류사 학습 방안의 탐색

초록

The purpose of this article is to find a method for describing the history of East Asian maritime exchange and a method for teaching and learning based on new research results and knowledge on the Shinan Ship, known as a sunken ship in the first half of the 14th century. Specifically, it covers three things: First, I consider why it is good or realistic to study Japanese history in connection with Korean history. Second, I will pay attention to the Shinan Ship as a useful material for studying Japanese history centering on the history of maritime exchange. Some textbooks have already introduced it as a learning material, but as there is no explanation for the context in which it appears, I consider why the Shinan Ship is an important ship in the history of East Asian maritime exchange. At this time, I would like to pay attention to the context of Japanese medieval history, which had been neglected in Korean academia, and, above all, I would like to develop a discussion focusing on the wooden tablet, a textual material that decisively reveals the character of the Shinan Ship. Third, I will discuss how to use the Shinan Ship in history class. The purpose of this study is to confirm how the pedagogical approach to the characteristics of East Asian maritime exchanges in the 13th and 14th centuries can be implemented in classes using the Shinan Ship.
