- Nordic Journal of Psychiatry, which was first published in 1947, is an international English language journal covering all themes in psychiatry; from psychotherapy to psychopharmacology. The content covers original articles, review articles, debate and special topic issues. Areas that are represented include child and adult psychiatry, psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy, social psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine. The journal is distributed to an international audience including the members of the Baltic and Nordic national psychiatry associations. In addition to psychiatrists the journal is also subscribed to and read by psychologists, social workers and nurses in psychiatry. Nordic Journal of Psychiatry is the official journal for the eight psychiatry associations in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
