The Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society is the flagship journal of the LMS. It publishes articles of the highest quality and significance across a broad range of mathematics. There are no page length restrictions for submitted papers.
The Proceedings has its own Editorial Board separate from that of the Journal, Bulletin and Transactions of the LMS.
The Proceedings is wholly owned and managed by the London Mathematical Society, a not-for-profit Charity registered with the UK Charity Commission. All surplus income from its publishing programme is used to support mathematicians and mathematics research in the form of research grants, conference grants, prizes, initiatives for early career researchers, and the promotion of mathematics.
New Identity for the Proceedings
Read about recent changes to the Proceedings in a statement from the Managing Editors.
Papers which were submitted to the Proceedings prior to 1 March 2019 will continue to be handled by the existing Board and decisions for acceptance will be held against the same criteria that were in place at the time of submission.
